Contract & usage

Terms of Service

These terms are the agreement between you (the salon) and eHairPOS for using the Service. Please read them in full before registering, subscribing or using the Service.

Last updated: 5 November 2026

01Acceptance and scope

These terms form the agreement between eHairPOS and the salon using the Service (“you”). By registering, subscribing or otherwise using the Service you agree to be bound by them.

The Service is for business use. If you sign up on behalf of a company or store, you confirm you are authorised to bind that organisation.

If you and eHairPOS sign a separate written agreement that conflicts with these terms, the written agreement prevails.

02What the Service includes

The Service is cloud salon management: checkout and payments, online booking, members and wallet balances, commission and performance tracking, stock and reports, plus the eHairPOS (front-desk), eHairBOSS (owner) and eHairGO (member) apps.

We may add, change or retire features as the Service improves; changes with a material effect on features are announced in advance.

The Service is provided “as is”; we do not warrant that every feature suits your particular business needs.

03Accounts, passwords and security

You are responsible for keeping your account and password confidential and for all activity and results produced under that account.

Create separate staff accounts with the minimum permissions each role needs, and disable an account as soon as a staff member leaves.

Tell us immediately if you find unauthorised use of your account; until we finish handling it, actions taken under that account remain your responsibility.

04Subscription, billing and renewal

The Service is subscription-based. Price, plan contents and billing cycle are those shown on the pricing page or at the time you purchase.

Unless otherwise agreed, subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each cycle; you can cancel before the next cycle starts, and a cycle already begun is not refunded.

If payment is overdue we may suspend some or all features until the balance is settled.

You bear taxes lawfully charged. If we change prices we announce or notify the change before it takes effect.

05Your responsibilities

You are responsible for the accuracy, lawfulness and completeness of everything you enter into the Service, including customer data, prices, balances and commission rules.

When you process customer personal data you must obtain consent and give notice as the law requires; we handle that data on your instructions.

You may not use the Service for unlawful, fraudulent, discriminatory or rights-infringing purposes, or upload infringing content.

Transactions, refunds and disputes over goods or services between you and your customers are yours to handle and resolve.

06Prohibited uses

You agree not to:

  • sell, rent, sublicense or otherwise let a third party share your account or subscription;
  • reverse engineer, decompile, extract source code from the Service, or bypass billing and licensing controls;
  • mass-harvest data with automated programs, disrupt the Service, or circumvent access limits;
  • upload or spread malware, or attempt to breach the Service or another user's data;
  • use the Service for purposes that break the law, infringe intellectual property or disturb public order;
  • register or verify using someone else's identity or false information.

07Intellectual property and licence

The eHairPOS brand, names, logo, interface, software and documentation belong to us or our licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark and other laws.

These terms grant only a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service during your subscription; all rights not expressly granted are reserved.

If you use our brand assets in marketing, follow the usage rules we publish and do not damage the brand's reputation.

08Data ownership and export

Business and customer records you create in the Service belong to you, or to your customers where the law says so; providing the Service does not give us ownership of them.

You can export your main records during the subscription. After you end the Service we keep an export window open for 30 days, then delete or de-identify data under the Privacy Policy.

Books, receipts and transaction records the law requires to be kept are retained for the statutory period.

09Third-party services and external links

The Service works with third parties such as the Apple App Store, Apple Push Notification service, LINE, Facebook and Instagram, and payment providers; each of them applies its own terms and privacy policy.

The booking link you get from the Service (for example member.ehairpos.com/xxxxx) can be shared on social platforms, whose own rules govern that post.

We are not responsible for the content, availability or losses caused by third-party services, but disputes directly involving us are still handled under these terms.

10Availability, maintenance and changes

We use reasonable commercial efforts to keep the Service available and perform necessary maintenance; foreseeable maintenance is announced in the app or on the website as early as possible.

Interruptions from force majeure, third-party outages, network or security incidents, or problems with your own devices and network are not treated as our breach.

We may adjust system settings for security, performance or legal reasons, on the principle that core features are not affected.

11Suspension and termination

You may stop subscribing at any time; fees for the period already used are not refunded unless otherwise agreed.

If you breach these terms, owe unpaid fees, or your conduct endangers the Service or other users, we may first notify you to fix it; in serious or urgent cases we may suspend or end the Service.

After termination, the provisions on data export and retention, liability limits, and anything that by its nature should survive, remain in force.

12Compensation and limits of liability

You compensate us for reasonable costs and losses we incur because of your use of the Service, your breach of these terms, or your infringement of someone else's rights.

To the extent the law allows, our cumulative liability is capped at the fees you actually paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.

We are not liable for indirect, incidental, punitive or lost-profit damages, including business loss, data loss and reputational harm, except where caused by our wilful misconduct or gross negligence.

Where applicable law does not allow these limits, they apply only to the maximum extent that law permits.

13Changes to these terms

We may revise these terms as features, billing, laws or providers change; the new “Last updated” date appears on this page.

Revisions that materially affect your rights or duties are highlighted before they take effect through an in-app notice, email or website notice; continuing to use the Service afterwards means you accept them.

If you disagree with a revision, you can stop subscribing before it takes effect.

14Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are interpreted and applied under the laws of Taiwan (Republic of China). The Traditional Chinese version prevails; other language versions are for reading convenience.

Disputes under these terms are first negotiated in good faith; failing that, the district court with competent jurisdiction in Taiwan is the court of first instance.
